Its Time To Come Together

Ok, Well things certainly look sealed up here with the GOP primaries and its time we all come together as a party to prepare for the big fight with the Democrats.  I understand that for the far right there is a lot to be desired with our nominee, and that sediment has been made very clear through the media, polls, as well as in the blogs.  But as true conservatives we need to ask the bigger question.  What will happen to America under a "Pure Liberal" administration?  Apart from the fact that both Democratic candidates made it clear that their first order of business will be to cut and run from Iraq.  That alone should drive every Conservative to the polls to condemn such rhetoric.  Ill admit, I am a McCain supporter so its much easier for me to forgive some of his more moderate stances as my support for him goes back many years.

Now if the war in Iraq isn't enough for you then I urge you to think about judges.  The last thing we need here is to have a bunch of Liberal judges on the bench making things up as they go along.  I want judges who rule by the constitution not by their own Liberal agenda.  I know John McCain will pick judges like Roberts and Alito.  I think we can all agree on this one.

Now, I finish with this thought.  I know the primaries are hard on the party because everyone wants their candidate to win.  I know this.  But the only way we can win the general election is with a united party.  With a message of strength.  We can do this.  Lets look to see what we can agree on and work on the things we don't.  I know if we do this we will keep the White House for the GOP, win the war, and keep the supreme court from running astray.

We Have A Winner!!!!

Ok... If there were ever any doubts whether or not John McCain could win a closed primary where Independants were not allowed to vote they were sure silenced with tonights win in Florida.  Winner take all with delegates and McCain is now the clear front runner moving into super tuesday.  There are talks that Rudy is going to drop out and endorse McCain tommorow in Cali.  Tonight America Won With McCain.

Latest Look At The Polls

Ok, Now I know the grand majority of us do not put a whole lot of stock in polls these days.  But I feel it is always nice to put them out there to see what people make of them.  Now RealClearPolitics.com has McCain up narrowly by about 0.5 percent which is virtually tied.  I like the RCP because they take all the major polls and average them out to get the broader picture which has it as a virtual dead heat.  It appears that voters who feel the economy is most important issue are for Romney and voters who feel that national security is the issue of the day are pulling for McCain.  Rudy still has a chance to get in there.  But if he doesn't have a strong showing in Florida I dont see where he goes from here. This is the link to all of the poll results if you are interested in veiwing the stats.

Let The Battle Begin!!!

Ok, Here we go. NH is in the books and tonights SC debate on FOX News is looking like its going to make all the difference on the GOP side.  Senator John McCain must seek to continue to look like the strongest leader and even challenge Romney whenever possible.  I truly hope McCain has a good night tonight.  He needs the momentum to carry Michigon, South Carolina, Florida.  That should secure him the support he needs heading into Super Duper Tuesday.

Look,  its really going to come down to whether or not the conservative base can rally together and line up behind McCain.  Its hard for them because of some issues McCain differs on.  At the end of the day, this election is going to come down to who is most ready to protect America and the world from terror and who is the most qualified to meet this challenge and that man is without a doubt McCain.

So I urge all Americans to rally together behing McCain.  Look past your petty disagreements on some issues and do whats best for America and the world.....

Go Johnny Go!

The results are in and New Hamphire has spoken... And the choice was clear Senator John McCain has emerged victorious.  There was some talk that the last minute voters were leaning towards Romney.  However, New Hampshire pundits were always saying that the people of NH were going to go to McCain which certainly was the case.  I beleive that with this victory John McCain is the new GOP front runner and its on to Michigon for a repeat performance.  As this race progresses its starting to clarify a bit and I think at least on the GOP side they are going to vote for a strong leader like McCain.  We will have to see how the media spins this and we will check in later.  Good Evening My Friends!

CONGRATS JOHN McCAIN!!!

The Surge IS Working.... But No News Coverage

One thing that i have come to understand in this world is that when something is really bad like in Iraq for instance, its all over the media: CNN, Fox News, MSNBC etc... and then the leftists jam it down the throats of the American people.  I find it deeply troubling that now that the surge in Iraq is working and the course is moving closer to victory its completely absent from the media.  Right now its a rarity to a even hear a Democrat even utter the words Iraq in fear that people like John McCain, who called this very moment, would get a surge themselves.  I might add also that its currently happening in New Hampshire like I stated in yesterdays post.  It just seems that too many people fall for the candidates who change their position depending on what the are running for or depending on which way the political polling is blowing. At the end of the day, I do believe that the American people are wise enough to see through the liberal spin and selective coverage of the media.  I am extremely confident in this years election, and look forward to supporting our nominee.

Press The Issues

Good Morning, I was talking to some of my fellow conservatives about our GOP field this cycle and we were comparing all of our candidates.  Of course if you take ONE issue from each candidate you end up with perfect nominee.  Every candidate has a strong point; McCain: Strong, Experienced, unmatched in areas of national security and foreign policy.  Huckabee: Likable, great speaker, and  has the religious right on his side by default. Romney: Money, Money and umm Money, and a nice hair cut too.  Giuliani:  Name recognition,  good on national security, hero of 911. I mean in my opinion these are the only GOP candidates who even have a chance.  I kind of like Thompson but i just don't think he has a chance.  Now out of all of those candidates.  Which ones strong points look most important.  Clearly McCain.  I mean this is a man who is absolutely on top of every issue on foreign policy and world affairs.  Not to mention his unbelievable knowledge in home land security.  Now i had some comments yesterday on here from a very informed townhall.com blogger.  He seemed worried about McCain on some domestic issues, like immigration.  I see his point and it is important to look at EVERY issue.  But i feel that McCain's strong points in areas where he is clear choice far out weigh the petty squabbles of this immigration debate.  I agree immigration is important., VERY important, and McCain Will secure the borders.  We will just have to have a debate on what we do about all the illegals that are already here.  If you have any questions on McCain's stance on immigration watch this  John McCain On Immigration Video Have a great day my friends
